Ion Chromatography

Ion Chromatography is similar in nature to HPLC. The differences between the two are subtle but very important.
The heart of the instrument, called the column, contains a fundamentally very different chemical structure designed not to separate organic compounds but rather those with ionic charges, hence the term ion chromatography. In addition to separation, the conductivity detector of this instrument is designed specifically to look for ionized compounds.
Our ion chromatographs are configured and quality assured specifically for air testing methods. You could easily state that IC analysis is the "bread and butter" of our business.
With 15+ years experience in performing ion chromatography analyses we can typically resolve problematic samples very quickly.
Furthermore a large clientele for our chromatography services insures a consistently high productivity resulting in decreased per sample costs which we pass on to our customers as lower analytical pricing. A $44 HCl pricing per sample for EPA Method 26/26A analysis, for example, is one of the lowest in the industry.
