Our Staff

Bruce Nemet is President, Founder and Lab Director for Resolution Analytics. He currently serves as Quality Assurance Officer and still performs much of our liquid and ion chromatography analysis, both in-house and on-site. Formerly, Bruce served as the HPLC Lab Supervisor for Entropy, Inc. and helped method test several current EPA methods, including CTM 027, EPA Method 8A and Draft Method 20X. His knowledge of liquid and ion chromatography, particularly with applications associated with air sampling, is extensive. In addition to managing Resolution Analytics (and babysitting its staff), Bruce has a variety of personal interests and hobbies that include scuba diving, flyfishing, motorcycling, miniature wargaming, traveling, classical music, winetasting, and golf.

Ilya Alimov is our mercury and FTIR specialist. He commands no less than six different instruments allowing us to achieve mercury results for a variety of source sampling methods, including OHM and the soon-to-be promulgated 30B. Ilya's mercury lab is capable of detecting mercury as low as 1 part per trillion!  He is also our onsite lab analyst so you will typically see him driving our state-of-the-art mobile lab.  Ilya's interests outside his mobile lab include photography, computers, motorcycling and golf.

Teran Simon is our ion chromatography/ HPLC analyst overseeing our method 26/26A.  He is particularly skilled with speciating a wide variety of chemical compounds with our advanced instrumental techniques.  He also is very experienced with method 8 titrations and analysing formaldehyde by EPA method 316 and 323.  Outside Resolution Analytics, Teran's interests include computer graphics, golf, music, home improvement projects and raising his two children.

Brandy LePage is our gravimetric analyst who has a record of unmatched accuracy and precision because she is so meticulous and with an eye for detail.  If you desire high performance analysis for your condensable or PM 2.5 particulate test project we cannot imagine a better analyst than Brandy.  When she is not in the lab you will usually find her taking care of her plants inside and outside her house. 

Jeff Coppedge is the newest member  of the Resolution Analytic's team. With 19 years of experience in air quality analysis and onsite testing proceedures, Jeff is an invaluable addition to our company.  When he is not at the lab, Jeff enjoys playing guitar with famous musicians such as Jason Michael Carol and other Nashville recording artists, often in support of a foundation created by he and his wife in memory of their daughter who died in 2006 of lung cancer.  Please see www.brittanysbattle.org.
